These are the three pendants Ellen Kocher submitted for Text-iles Show at the Silk Weaving Studio on Granville Island. The pendant are cut from a copper metal sheet and that then etched. They are backed with textured sterling silver and fastened to a polymer clay tile. The thoughts expressed are Ellen's own words in metal form. The clay design is an example of Ellen's Manic Mokume technique. The backs have a co-ordinating polymer design.
The show will be on until the end of June and is just one good reason to spend part of a day on Granville Island.
